Q. Is prior experience in restaurant or fast food management necessary
to become a Jreck Subs franchisee?
Although experience in the fast food industry is beneficial, it is not
mandatory. A complete training program will provide you with the
foundation to successfully operate your franchise.
Q. Do I have to be an "owner operator"?
Jreck Subs corporate does not require that you personally operate your
restaurant on a daily basis. However, our experience has shown
that the most profitable restaurants are actively managed by the owner.
The owner of a single unit should be prepared to commit considerable
personal time to on-premise management.
Q. What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of the franchise agreement is ten years.
Q. Do you provide financing?
Jreck Subs Corporation does not provide financing. However, we can
provide you with a list of potential lending and equipment leasing
sources.
Q. What is the royalty fee and how is it paid?
The Royalty fee is 6% of gross sales. This is the on going fee
each Jreck Subs franchisee pays to the Jreck Subs Corporation for the
length of the franchise agreement. The fees are drawn weekly from
your business account.
Q. Where and how do I purchase equipment, food & supplies?
A list of approved equipment, food and suppliers will be provided after
you sign your franchise agreement. Certain vendors have been
approved to supply all Jreck Subs restaurants, however, you may purchase
from another source provided it has been approved in advance and the
equipment, food and supplies being purchased meet Jreck Subs' standards.
